However this morning i plugged in my external HD this morning and looked at my spotlight becos the external hd did not appear on the screen so i went looking for it, only to find the spotlight indexing again! i think its related to me plugging in my external!!! The NUMBER 1 PRIORITY for me is to be able to transfer my wallpapers from ifoto to my external hd!!! I have waited 12-13 hrs for a response from you and if i do not recieve a response in the next 2hours i will be contacting the bank straight away and making sure that no money has been transferred out of my account and if it has they will be recovering it straight away and taking action!!! 34 tech support ppl online it says here!! i find that strange cos it just said 9 online on the previouse page! so please solve this problem and reply with in two hours or i will re install op system properly and then call my bank, and keep calling the bank everyday to see weather any mysterious withdrawells have been made in my accounts. ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR 3DAYS AND I AM VERY SHORTLY ABOUT TO JUST REINSTALL OPERATING SYSTEM AND RISK LOSING ALL MY DATA Optional Information: Computer OS: Mac OS X Browser: Safari Already Tried: instal op system leopard using the archive option, varify repair when inserting op system leopard before installing! opt+command+p+r safe boot! Last night after i waited 3hours the indexing stopped on my spotlight and the problem was solved. ben-milsons-imac-g5:~ benmilson$ I went to system preferences and unticked all the boxes in the spotlight catagory! it now says 3hours remaining on indexing in spotlight! Also i cant access finder!!! But i can access finder in accounts that arent admin accounts!!! it just appears in an open window when i log in to another account! But indexing and spinning curser will eventually resume aswell and ill be stuck again forced to switch off by power button. My dock disapeared after relaunching the dock using candybar application!!! Then came a spinning curser and my spotlight wont stop indexing!!! I Reisntalled op system leopard in using the archive setting as i dont wanna lose all my cool wallpapers located in iphoto!!! I tried drag n drop all my fotos to my external hd icon on my desktop and it lets me drag but i cant drop them into my external hd icon.
